Facilities company EMG Netherlands announces that CEO René Delwel has decided to leave EMG and hand over the baton to Bart De Maeyer, current CFO of EMG Belgium. De Maeyer will start on March 1 and will be introduced by Delwel to employees, clients and other stakeholders in the coming months.

René Delwel has been CEO of EMG Netherlands since 2010 and led the company through both the corona crisis and its rebranding to EMG. Under his leadership, the company grew to 500 employees and numerous projects were executed for all Dutch broadcasters and producers. He played a crucial role in the formation of the current EMG group, which recently merged with Gravity Media.

I find this next step as CEO of EMG Netherlands very fitting for Bart and have full confidence that he will successfully lead the company through a new phase."

Bart De Maeyer has worked for EMG since 2006, currently as CFO of EMG Belgium. In addition to his new role as CEO of EMG Netherlands, De Maeyer will take a seat on the Executive Leadership Team of EMG / Gravity as Region CEO in which he will represent EMG Netherlands, EMG Belgium and EMG Germany.
