Broadcast company EMG Netherlands and Omroep MAX have extended their exclusive collaboration. On January 17th, Jan Slagter, the director of Omroep MAX, and René Delwel, CEO of EMG Netherlands, signed a five-year contract, marking a renewed continuation of their successful partnership.

Since 2007, EMG Netherlands has been providing all technical facilities and crew for the production of various programs for Omroep MAX and Omroep WNL, including shows like Goedemorgen Nederland, MAX Geheugentrainer, Tijd voor MAX, and Met het Mes op Tafel. Weekly, dozens of television programs are recorded in Studios 23, 5, and 6 at Omroep MAX on the Media Park. With the recent upgrade to a modernized IP control room in Studio 23, it becomes even more efficient to operate programs in Studios 5 and 6, as well as other locations.

Jan Slagter, director of Omroep MAX, stated, "We have been working satisfactorily with EMG for many years, and I am pleased that we can extend the collaboration for five more years. With the new IP control room (according to SMPTE 2110) in Studio 23, it's now possible to operate programs in Studio 5 and 6 and also much easier to work remotely from other locations, both on the Media Park and beyond. The core of the technology is housed in the conditioned and secured data center of EMG, operating according to the ISO27001 standard.

Part of the service also includes the use of the EMG Livecentre, directly connected to the Mediacentre of Omroep MAX. The EMG Livecentre serves as the epicenter for connectivity, making it possible to establish all kinds of live connections both nationally and internationally.
